Aronia is an attractive shrub that can be used as an edible landscape option and should begin to produce berries after 3 years if you start with smaller, younger plants. The larger the the size, the older the plant, and the sooner you'll get berries. We offer large potted plants as old as 4 years. The berries this plant produces are known to be among the healthiest, most antioxidant-rich berries that can be grown. Mature shrubs can reach 6 - 12 feet in height and are very productive. Just one 25-foot long hedge of Aronia at our farm has produced nearly 30 gallons of berries in one season!
