With these seedlings, you can start your own asparagus patch at an extremely affordable price. Plant once and look forward to delicious asparagus spears for years--even decades--to come. Asparagus is a good source of antioxidants, fiber, and many other vitamins and minerals (e.g., folate, potassium, etc.), besides being a delicious dinner side or fresh snack raw in the garden. Follow this link for a resource from Cleveland Clinic that breaks down the nutritional properties more thoroughly: https://health.clevelandclinic.org/benefits-of-asparagus
These are first-year seedlings, so be sure to allow them to establish themselves in the ground for the first couple years. Begin harvesting lightly in 3 years, then you can harvest more aggressively in subsequent seasons.
