This is my favorite milkweed. In my yard, it has been tolerant of extreme wet, extreme dry, full sun, as well as mostly shade. And, it has beautiful flowers to boot!

Milkweed is literally the only food source for Monarch butterflies. Due to the depletion of habitat and use of herbacides, this vital source of Monarch butterfly nurishment has rapidly declined in recent years.
